The NATE-Certification Advantage

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is proud to send NATE-Certified technicians into customers’ homes in North America every day. While this notation of being Nate-Certified definitely sounds reassuring, what does it truly mean?

NATE, an abbreviation for North American Technician Excellence, is the nation’s largest non-profit certification organization for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration technicians. NATE is the certification organization that was developed by and has been supported by the entire HVACR industry for nearly 20 years. However, not all technicians in the field are required to be NATE-Certified. The certification is elective and technicians can service heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment without the accreditation.

It’s important to Service Experts that our team is NATE-Certified to make sure we are sending the most qualified technicians into our customers’ homes. To make sure technicians meet these benchmarks, the NATE-Certification exams validate real-world working knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems for technicians. The assessments are knowledge-based exams that measure the technician’s understanding of these rules.

Due to the fact that Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning focuses mainly on the HVAC side of NATE-Certification, our technicians attain their designations in these areas. However, NATE assessment candidates may earn certification in multiple areas:

  • Air Conditioning
  • Air Distribution
  • Gas Heating
  • Oil Heating
  • Heat Pumps
  • Hydronic Gas (service only)
  • Hydronics Oil (service only)
  • Light Commercial Refrigeration (service only)
  • Commercial Refrigeration (service only)
  • Ground Source Heat Pump Loop Installer
  • Senior HVAC Efficiency Analyst

You can be confident that the technicians at Service Experts are highly qualified and professional and will do the job correctly from the beginning. Our company has the knowledge and skill set to not only repair your HVAC systems, but to take the ultimate care of your equipment. Call 713-396-3760 to have one of our NATE-Certified experts evaluate your HVAC system to ensure that it is prepared to keep your family comfortable all year long.
